We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team as the first hire in outbound sales. This is a foundational role where you’ll play a key part in building our outbound engine. The ideal candidate is skilled in navigating complex organizations, understands programmatic advertising(preferred, not mandatory), and thrives in creating account-specific strategies to open meaningful conversations with decision-makers.

You’ll be focusing on large web publishers in North America, identifying their pain points, and building a robust pipeline for Mile’s sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and engage decision-makers within large media and publishing organizations.
  • Account-Based Outreach: Develop and execute tailored strategies for each target account to address specific needs and challenges.
  • Pipeline Generation: Consistently deliver a strong pipeline by meeting and exceeding monthly outreach and lead generation goals.
  • Understanding Programmatic Tech: Stay up to date on programmatic advertising trends and be able to articulate Mile’s value proposition effectively.
  • CRM Management: Track outreach efforts and manage the sales pipeline using tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Collaborative Alignment: Work closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, develop assets, and align on go-to-market strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 1-3 years in an outbound SDR or similar role, preferably in SaaS or enterprise sales targeting North American markets.
  • Market Know-how: Experience working with large organizations and understanding the nuances of longer sales cycles.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, customer-specific outreach messages.
  • Results-Driven: A proven track record of achieving or exceeding pipeline goals in current and past roles.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable working in an early-stage, high-growth environment with minimal supervision.
